Let me talk a little bit about Girl Talk.  Gregg Gillis may not have invented mash-ups, he might not be the best mash-up artist, shoot, you might not even like him.  Here's what you need to know, though.  2007 he received Wired's Rave Award and Feed The Animals was ranked #4 album of the year by Time magazine. (fact-checked via Wikipedia reference links, for convenience's sake)

More importantly is that all of that all of his albums are released on his record label, illegal-art, either for free or with the option "Pay What You Want." That is why my first official post will be a link to illegal-art.net, where you can find six albums available for free download (or, more accurately, 2 free and 4 for which you can pay for if you chose).
